Once you’ve contacted me, the first step will be to schedule a free 30-minute consultation. During the consultation, we’ll get to know each other a bit and discuss your goals. If we both decide that we’d like to work together, we can start our collaboration!
Having a clear understanding of your motivation and goals is important, so it’s worth asking yourself a few questions before the consultation and your language learning journey. The following questionnaire can assist you with this: (and it’s also helpful to me, if you fill it out before the consultation, so I’ll already have some basic information about you… 🙂 )
How long is a language lesson, and what platform will we use?
The lessons are 50 minutes long (except for the 30-minute mini lessons) and are mostly conducted on Skype, but we can use any platform you prefer. Please be at your computer at the agreed-upon time, and if you know you’ll be late, notify me via message, phone or through another platform. If you don’t notify me, I can wait for a maximum of 15 minutes.
Can I cancel a lesson?
Continuous lessons and preparation at home are crucial for progress and achieving our mutually agreed-upon goals. Therefore, if possible, please do not cancel a lesson. If changes are necessary, consider rescheduling for another time. We can adjust the appointment if you inform me at least 48 hours before the lesson. Cancellations within two days will be treated as if the lesson took place. If, for any reason, I have to cancel a lesson within 48 hours, you won’t be charged for the next one.
How can I pay for the lessons?
I will issue the invoice at the beginning of each month based on the chosen package/agreed-upon number of sessions and send it to you. Please make the payment by bank transfer no later than the day of the first lesson.
